I don't think anyone outside Darren and I saw The Last Kingdom season 1, but season 2 just dropped on Netflix. Squeeee

I'll be binging next week.

I lied, it's taken me two months to binge. Still good, though. What were the books like?

The books were bloody amazing!  Bernard Cornwell is a fantastic writer.  I think the last one he wrote was The Flame Bearer, and that's the 10th in the series.  I wonder how many seasons they plan on airing . . . I'd love to see characters like Cnut Longsword written into the show.

I'm halfway through now and it felt like a whole season/series finale. I gotta wonder what the heck the rest of the season is about. I'm pleased with this episode but geez four episodes and an entire journey has come to a close and well done might I add. I don't know how in heck there are ten books.

Also Vikings 4 part 2 is finally on Amazon. Guess I'll be binging for a while... No spoilers :p

I haven't finished the current Last Kingdom season so I'm trying not to spoil it with this article but it's all about Alfred's daughter and the apparent badass woman she turned into. She's given tribute for her "peace weaving" and military skills, which as everyone knows was not a celebrated female quality in ye old days.

Not often, but sometimes a few gems pop up.   ;)  And yup, The Last Kingdom is one of them.

Yeah maybe. But can anything out there really compete with something like Paw Patrol?

I mean, you’ve got talking dogs driving insanely cool vehicles and wearing backpacks that would make McGyver drool. Not to mention the amazing stories like help the baby turtles cross the road or save the jam contest. That’s edge of your seat stuff right there.

Wal-Mart had the 3rd season for $25.00 a few months ago, and I completely forgot about it.

Now they don't have it anywhere in stock.   >:(

Time to go on Amazon.ca . . .

Filming has started in April. Think we'll see it by the end of the year? Apparently it's set a decade in the future and "if it goes by the book" stars uhtred's children.

Also its exclusively on Netflix now I think. Do you get it in Canada?

Yeah, I think all 3 seasons are on Netflix Canada.
