Before the two of you head to your manors,
Sir Earl Rodric pulls you aside for a moment.
"Gentlemen. I am concerned about the lands that have been placed in your families' care. With the intrigues taking place in Logres, I must have all the manors in my care secure. Towards this end, I need the two of you to secure an heir. You have until spring to either appoint a strong heir or find a wife. If you do not have wives by spring, I will select wives for you, and you will be married before summer."
He smiles and nods. "Now return to your manors. I pray for a good harvest. I have a sense that we will need it before long."

[ooc: I assume you mean Earl Roderick?]
"My Lord," Cedwyn replied, "I must confess that I was thinking towards similar lines. You caught going to market to acquire what I need to be more successful in pursuit of a wife."
