Cedwyn went to his wife and explained the invitation.
"Obviously, we cannot attend the wedding itself," he concluded, he knew what would happen and it violated much of what he believed, "But the feast afterwards, it may be acceptable to go," he sighed.
He liked them both and admired their courage, but at the same time, they were foreigners in this land and mercenaries. He had those considerations but they were also his comrades in arms, spilling blood together and getting their blood split. It created a bond of brotherhood and sisterhood.
"It is likely to be a rougher affair though, more rough than my humble feast. But we had fought together and would honor that bond, though they not be knights or bound by oath to Logres or Salisbury."
