He was speaking of Corey's battle rolls and then each of us succeeding with whatever attack we made...spear, sword, etc.

How many spears would each of us have?

I believe I'm at 0.

That's why I'm asking, if Rodric has an extra he'll lend it to Cedwyn, but if he doesn't, charging is going to be a challenge.

Corey, how do you want to handle it? You can have Rodric's and he can attack with his sword.

I will give him mine...my sword skill is much better and it would be my place anyway.

Okay...thanks! And with a charge, I'm sure to hit and I get to use my 8d6 damage from Peredur.

Someone asked me a question about benefits of a great spear. I said there were none, but I was mistaken.

Normally, someone on foot suffers a -5 to effective skill when fighting against a mounted opponent. Due to it's reach, a great spear removes this penalty, allowing ground troops with great spears to effectively battle mounted opponents.

Craig, how long would it take Rodric and Artaigne to travel about 2 miles (round trip) in this terrain?

Not long. 60-90 minutes.

Do not...I repeat. do not engage any groups larger than 2 Or three.

No groups with more than 2 or 3 opponents each, got it.

Unless you're Red Rory of the Glen.  Then you can take on a regiment.   

BTW, Arne has a brace of spears if someone needs one.
