Is there room for praying and miracles, or does that require some sort of NPC cleric?  I'll RP some prayer that would make a priest jealous if it will help.

Maybe he could call on Merlin (assuming it would actually work) and have some big-time owesies . . . .

As a Christian I'm not sure Rodric could call on a pagan like that.

I'm not fond of Rodric dying but it's something we're all going to have to keep in mind. This game is scary deadly, Rodric may be the first to bite it but he won't be the last.

*If* you had a saint present, it might work. Just some guys in a field with a holy relic are not going to be enough. Saving someone from death is serious magic, and it takes a practitioner.

Merlin or a Saint could do something here, depending on the cost, but those sorts of resources are not available to you.

For future reference, there are also magical healing vials and other magical cures from the fae realm. Again, not resources you have available, but they may come up in the future.

Believe me, I triple checked before eventually posting few weeks ago. No drama for drama's sake :(

I unfortunately have to ask, what would be appropriate to do now? What's reality versus tv, knowing we are nowhere near home and still on the battlefield. Is there anything nearby to fashion and take him back with?

At this point, you could just throw him over his horse. The battle below has turned into a route. You could stay until relieved, but other than this the battle, your part in it, is done. You stayed for a reason, so you could try and press the Preator again to come and visit Uther.

Not sure where I put the pdf. My CS says major wound at 15 and I'm at 12 now. What does MW mean?

Uhuh :P okay, major wound doesn't apply since the dmg was 14, which was under it. That's good. Was falling off the horse dmg already rolled? At 12hp do I receive penalties for doing stuff besides getting hit?

Major Wound (MW) applies to damage taken in a single hit.

Now, I'm not saying that Cedwyn should provoke the ****, but we destroyed every single boat to the west. Too bad his men didn't do their jobs properly and destroy all of them to the east :P

(Also, V will be with Arne. Unless someone else can think up a good reason to be in the main tent. I'm not sure Cedwyn is the type to want moral support or a woman's shoulder to cry on :P )

Cedwyn is gonna make nice. Also, when Hengist's boy returns his guards will be looking for Cedwyn.

If we're there. I assumed we're heading out as soon as Arne is well enough to travel. Valka won't be stupid enough to fight with her own wounds and you two aren't much better.

So, since we've been highly realistic with this game. What are we to actually do with our dearly departed murder hobo? I understand I'm the woman in this scenario so she probably knows how best to take "care" of him before they leave. And no! I don't mean it that way. I told you she's not into that kinda thing :P
