The main focus of this game is accumulating Glory. You'll get (or have the opportunity to get) Glory for many different things. But there are two categories of Glory.
The starting Glory you guys had goes in the main Glory box on the character sheet, and at various times through the game, during Winter Phase, you'll increase that number.
Throughout adventures and such, you'll be awarded Glory. That gets tracked and accumulated on the "Awards" line. Throughout the year, you'll rack up more and more Glory in the Awards. Only during the winter phase will you move the awarded Glory into the permanent Glory.
Make sense?
Glory is a measure of your social standing and renown. As you accumulate more Glory, it will affect certain things. For example, a Knight with a Glory of 3000 would have benefits such as -3 on all Courtesy rolls. A glorious knight it more likely to be forgiven slips in courtesy and manners. Or a -3 on Orate rolls - glorious knights are viewed in a favourable light when they speak, that sort of thing. There's a lot more to Glory, but we'll discuss it when we get to the Winter Phase.
