Winter 488
« on: December 12, 2017, 11:21:49 AM »
Anything anyone wants to do before we move on to the summer campaign season? I noticed Falt is planning an apiary.

Any other shopping or improvements people wish to do before we go to war? :)

The apiary was started in the last winter season processing, I just never marked it down in Rodric's board.

Ah, OK. I thought it was new. :)

I included the Apiary in the numbers for this year when I calculated income and weather rolls.

I'm trying to go through the list to see what should be built for this winter phase.

What's the energetic roll it grants all about?

It's like the advancement checks you get. Not for Geoffrey this year, but next year he can roll an "Energetic" check in winter phase.

In the world of Pendragon, knights and their lands reflect each other, so having industrious bees on your lands earns the knight a check for energetic every year.

Valka and Arne would like to start construction on some settlement improvements if possible, but I don't know what our share is of the summer campaign's loot.  Our personal money right now is about 6 librum, and we owe Lady Habren at least 10.

I don’t recall what we all got from the ships but the Praetor gave Cedwyn 25, so Arne and Valka will have 5 each just from that.

So, if my math is right, Arne and Valka should have between them £18  . . . £3 as a gift from the Nord settlement, £1 as a wedding gift to Arne, £1 each as merc payment for last summer's campaign, £2 from Valka's shipshares, and another £5 each from the Praetor's purse.  Sound right?  That doesn't include the other loot taken on last summer's campaign.

I make it 17, if Valka is willing to pool resources. :)

The loot has not been divvied up yet, but there is potentially more to be had there, when shared out.

Of course, as the ranking knight, Sir Cedwyn could claim it all for himself.
