Just to clarify, what I mean is that it wasn't in their best interests to have Valka be the one northman to represent them. She'd definitely go with you, but she wouldn't advise her going above Arne going. Didn't feel like dragging that out in conversation when it's semantics :P

Yup, no problem with that.  Valka will just have to show them later on that she's not the typical Briton damsel in distress.   ;D

Rodric will remain silent unless asked any direct questions.  These are Arne's and Valka's people, the story should be told by one or both of them.

I bet Hayden's pissed that Suger took off with weapons after us and he was stuck tending to the horses. :)

It just occurred to me that we'll have to tell the northeners about Merlin, seeing as it was he that gave us instructions to go to Broad - and the warning not to disturb the stones.

I think the biggest indicator that we ran into a magic user is Cedwyn's face, it's obvious he's been injured and then healed by magic.

That's hilarious.  I can picture the crowd slowly thinning out as people leave to call it a night, while others are falling asleep and snoring during the telling. :)

Rrrrrgh, there's nothing hilarious about that thrice-accursed die roller program.   :P

Believe me, I understand your frustration.  It's why I threw everything I could into Sword.

No prob.  I figured that since I rolled, I committed myself.  Arne told the story, but really badly (deliberately).  I left it open for someone to tell it a lot better.

Should I make it worse?   ;D

Now I'm wondering if I should risk a roll. :)

But I'll wait and see what the crowd's reaction is.  Maybe they'll turn to the two outsiders hoping their version of events will be more entertaining.
