Just a note that I'm gonna be away from Friday until Monday evening, and I won't have access to a computer.

Oi vey...

My step-grandmother took us kids there, like three decades ago. It was wild then. I can only imagine what it is like now.

Hee heeee!  Even more so.  Also, it's the 59th anniversary, so it's gonna be HUGE.  Lotsa relatives up this year, and lotsa friends are going out there,  too.

Looks like none of us can tell a good story. :)

I'll try to get something typed up and posted today.  Hopefully with Valka's success at singing and mine not being a critical failure, between the two of us we can at least not bore the crowd to death.

Gah.  Should Arne do interpretive dance as the story is told?  He has a skill of 12.   ;D

I'd hate to see how your dance is interpreted if you fail that roll.  ;D

[Dice hate me: 20]

LOL!  The dice are really determined to make all our PCs look completely inept. :)

We have this awesome adventure, kill a giant, visit the land of the fae, fight a slimy green warrior and when it comes time to tell the story what do we say, "Fight giant, giant hit hard.  Green slimy thing bad." :)

Okay I am almost done, I'll post it tomorrow unless Cedwyn wants to have a go still.

Yikes, good thing that one didn't call for an honor check.  One of those situations where having such a high value could prove troublesome.

What's a ballpark number to house the refugees?  Cedwyn is in a much better situation financially to take them on, I doubt they'd want to split up unless absolutely necessary.

Heee . . . I was thinking the same thing regarding the Honor check.

As for Cedwyn's estate . . . I'm wondering how Cedwyn's wife would take to having 200+ pagans living on their property?

Ooh, I never thought about that.

If he'd have married Lady Elaine, a pagan as well, you'd have been welcomed with open arms.  Lady Ysbail...I'm thinking that'll be an interesting discussion.

Well, regardless of who they stay with, the Nords should be able to earn their keep well enough.  We've probably got a crap-ton of farmers, fishermen and herders in that group.
