Valka looks like a proper northwoman, reaching the impressive height of the fabled "giant" northmen, as if Yggdrasil had imparted a sacred branch for her spear arm.
Away from home and ready for war Valka was styled quite differently, her striking red hair pulled back in wild twists and braids and blue eyes exaggerated with thick lines of dark kohl. She isn't a great image of femininity but having carried twins to term her hips have widened significantly.
